Plums

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Plums ("we", "us", or "our") at plums.vip handles information when you visit our website or use our free online tools. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Our Services

Plums provides browser-based tools that run entirely on your device, including: image tools (SVG to PNG, WebP conversion, image compression, SVG optimization); a QR code generator with custom colors, logos, and background images; and PDF tools (merge, split, compress, convert to or from images, add watermarks, page numbers, or signatures, and extract embedded images or text). No account registration is required.

3. Local File Processing

All file processing — including images, SVG files, PDF documents, and files you select for QR code customization — happens locally in your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or sent to third parties for processing. Results are saved to your device only when you choose to download them. We cannot access, view, or store the content of your files.

4. Information We Collect

Because our tools process files locally, we do not collect the files or content you process. We may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our site, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring URLs, and general usage statistics. If Google Analytics is enabled, page views and anonymized usage data may also be collected. We do not operate contact forms and do not collect personal information such as your name or email unless you contact us voluntarily.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to operate and maintain the website, improve our tools, understand aggregate usage patterns, troubleshoot technical issues, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar browser storage for: language preference (an i18n_locale cookie to remember your selected language); Progressive Web App (PWA) functionality (service worker cache and local storage for offline access and faster loading after installation); and optional analytics (if configured, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure site traffic). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect language persistence and PWA functionality.

7. Information Sharing

We may share limited technical data with service providers who help with website hosting and infrastructure, subject to confidentiality obligations. If Google Analytics is enabled, anonymized usage data is processed by Google. We do not share your processed files or file contents with any third party. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

8. Data Retention

Server logs and analytics data are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Files you process using our tools remain on your device and are not retained on our servers. You can clear PWA cache and cookies at any time through your browser or device settings.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, as well as the right to object to certain processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect our website and any information we collect. Because file processing occurs entirely in your browser, the security of your files also depends on your device and browser environment. We recommend using up-to-date browsers on trusted devices when processing sensitive documents.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our hosting providers or analytics services. Where required, we take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of protection.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

14. Contact Us

If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at vplums@qq.com.
